Stash Note No 4

Hello there. I am back from my lovely holiday, sun-kissed and milk-chocolate brown indeed.
I have already started cutting the fabric for the Single girl Quilt and will post a process report on that later on in the week. I also need to hurry up and produce two mug rugs for the mug rug swap I entered. In effect I should have sent them out already to my swap partner in the US...mmmhhh..... well it'll be the weekend.

So what are the plans for the forthcoming weeks and months.
There is the single girl quilt to do, then another baby quilt that is commissioned by a friend and I also started a block with an appliquéd piece I may want to turn into a quilt and there is this gorgeous fabric that arrived that is eager to be made into a quilt. Ah yes and I need to make a bag for my mother's birthday that was last week (ouch !!!).........

This wonderful fabric is from the 'Honey Bee' collection by Michael Miller. So rich in colour and yet fresh.

  1. Thanks so much for your review of the new Janome 7700 vs. the Bernina QE. I too am looking to purchase a new machine. I own a Janome now and would like to upgrade. I am torn between these two machines. I have gone to demos of both. Does anyone else have any experience with the Bernina QE. I just recently retired and this machine will be my "retirment" gift so I want to be sure that I am getting the right machine for the money.

Thank you for your comments! I love reading them and will answer every question you have on my projects. But I have a very busy daytime job and am therefore not able to thank each and every comment. Please don't be offended if I won't reply.
