........and you thought I would not blog while on holiday........... Well I normally would not actually but as I am in USA and wifi is everywhere it really is very easy. This lot of fabric turned up just before I left and won't need much of an introduction. It is of course Sherpet Pips. A photo of the stash and a couple of close ups. Now don't ask me what I am doing with this. I don't know at all and although I really really wanted this fabric in my stash I now feel a bit of an anticlimax. Don't get me wrong, it is every bit as beautiful as I imagined it to be but the fabric as been everywhere over the month and I feel sort of overwhelmed. I wished Moda would not do this bit by bit release and would just go with a bit bang.
Well I think I let it rest a bit and then I am sure I will do something fabulous with it. I bought this bunch online at the Fat Quarter Shop.
Others have said this too but I would like to get my hands on some - did you get it in the UK?
ReplyDeleteHave a good time on hol!
I know exactly what you mean - the staggered release builds it up so much, that you almost dont appreciate how lovely it is because you've been seeing so much of it when you couldnt get it! Put it in a cupboard for a few months and you'll enjoy it all the more! Enjoy your holiday!
ReplyDeleteI really like it. I kind of over-bought on the charm packs (three--giving away two so hop on over if you are interested), but I also have two jellyrolls and quite a few 1/2yard cuts. I agree with Moda and their marketing plan. I think it may have backfired on this line. I hope they are taking notes!
