Christmas stockings class

And another Christmas-is-soon (very soon) post.....
Two years ago I tortured myself for months on end by making an advent calender of mini Christmas stockings for my beloved nephew.

You can find the tutorial to make these including template on my 'Tips, Tuts and Templates' page or just follow this link.

But that is not what I am going to teach at the Village Haberdashery on the 2nd November this year.

I am teaching how to make their bigger brother (or sister for that matter).

The class will be great fun and Annie provides all the material including a cute mini charm pack from Kate Spain's Christmas range 'From the Cold' that I used for one side of the stocking.
Best of all is that Annie offers a 15% discount if you book two of more classes. Use offer code STITCH2.

I added a cuff made of denim from old pair of Jeans I had and embellished with it a bit of ribbon. The stockings are big enough to actually fill them properly with gifts or you can use them for decoration. Mine will be hanging on my stair case come December.

  2. Judith! Thanks for this happy post.

So nice to see your lovely work with "In From the Cold"! (Perhaps the British agents have shortened the name? Brits are very good like that!)

I wish you, Annie, and everyone a splendid time on Nov 2 at the Village Haberdashery.

Thank you for your comments! I love reading them and will answer every question you have on my projects. But I have a very busy daytime job and am therefore not able to thank each and every comment. Please don't be offended if I won't reply.
