A stripy cushion

The students from my photography class will be forgiven a sigh at these images because they have seen this cushion on many of the pictures in the post-processing section of my lecture but I realized the other day that I made this cushion months ago and actually had not shared it with my readers.

So please meet my latest cushion made from wonderfully soft vintage bed linen I procured a while ago.

It is a simple number made of squares and double crosshatch quilting that I so love doing. I enjoy making cushions because they give me a chance to test new fabric or a new pattern and after a few hours I actually have something that is gorgeous and useful at the same time.  I am not that fond of mini quilts so this is for me the best option to "go small".

The back features two Echino linen prints with a covered zip.The listing can be found in my Etsy Shop here.

  2. Gorgeous! It's fresh and bright and reminds me of summer. I totally agree on cushions being the perfect experimental project too!

Thank you for your comments! I love reading them and will answer every question you have on my projects. But I have a very busy daytime job and am therefore not able to thank each and every comment. Please don't be offended if I won't reply.
