Stash Note No 7

The new addition to my stash is this great bundle of organic fabric from Birch fabrics. The collection is called Marine and designed by Dan Stiles.
The colours are beautiful and subtle, mainly aqua, orange, red, white and petrol. Just my kind of colour palette. Aren't the submarines cute ! I think this demands a simple quilt design that properly shows the pattern so children can recognize the fish and submarines right away. Something along the lines of an "I spy" quilt.

I already cut into it for a new quilt..........so watch the space.







The fabric was bought at Seamstar here in the UK.

    I'm intrigued to see what you will do with this fabric as coincidentally I have just indulged in the same bundle from the same location and I do not yet know what I will do with it - I just couldn't resist...
