Progress update Cranberry Crush

I took the days between Christmas and New Year off and have been sewing franticly apart from when I indulged in Winter sale shopping (bought a gorgeous pair of shoes......).

I have finished the top for the Cranberry crush quilt and am very pleased how it turned out. The lushness of the cranberry colour makes all the difference I think. Next is the back and I am thinking to use the remainder of the patterned fabric of the Petal colour range from Anna Maria Horner's Innocent Crush for this. The entire colour palette has eleven different patterns which is rather on the numerous side and I did not want to use all of them on the top. I am thinking a bit of nine patch pattern for the back.

The finished size will be around the 1.90 meter mark (that is  74 inches) and I will post exact measurement of the individual parts later on.

The first posts regarding this quilt can be found here and here.
