I started quilting about 18 months ago and I feel in this short period of time a lot happened here in the UK when it comes to fabric. More and more well equipped on-line shops appear on the horizon offering us fabrics that in previous year were only available in the US.
One of those fabulous shops is River Fabrics. Janette, who owns the shop contacted me to sponsor a giveaway and I am more than happy to host it. Janette is also a quilter and got into the "habit" through her mother-in-law who has been a patchworker for many years. Janette started the shop also 18 months ago when she found it difficult to source fabric locally. She started small and now has a sizable selection of print fabric and solids ! Oh we love solids. She stocks Kona cotton in 116 colours at the moment ! I think that might just be more than half of the Kona colour palette.
