Stash Note 95

New to my stash is the 'Paint' Collection by Carrie Bloomstone for Windham. This is her second collection after the very succesful "Collage" the year before. I sort of missed that one or let's say it took me a while to like it and when I finally did it was mostly gone. C'est la vie.

So with this collection I went all out and bought a fat quarter set of all prints. They are wonderfully different and the colours are to die for.

The collection has many prints and quite a selection of marbled solids. I have tried to bring the vibrancy of the colours out in the photographs but they really don't to the turquoise, yellow and orange justice.

The pattern is very similar to the 'Collage' collection and to be honest which is great given that I missed it the first time around.

Look at the wonderful flowers in these prints.

Stash Note 90

Yes I actually bought some new fabric the other day. Who would have thought....and it is a great set that caught my eye last week and which I could not resist.

Meet "Citrus" by Windham designed by "Another point of view".

This collection is all about grafics and colour !

And I love these lime/srping grass colours in particular which might have somehting to do with the approaching spring....

Pink Castle Fabric have this collection in fat quaters avaiable.

Stash Note 74

I tried but resistance was crumbling in the end and when I saw that the Eternal Maker had the collection in stock there was nothing I could do about it whatsoever.

This is of course 'Type' by Julia Rothman for the clever people of Windham Fabrics.
You could of course argue that we have had typewriters already (by Melody Miller) and that is true but this collection here is absolute wonderful in its choice of colors and the drawing is just exquisite.

They say these things come in 3's

And this is almost a tat embarrassing but I guess you know what's coming. I won....... AGAIN..... a fat quarter bundle. Yes I did and No I do not engage in bribery (mind you if I knew it would work I certainly would try).

I am the lucky recipient of a a fat quarter bundle of Spa fabric curtsey of the lovely people at Fat Quarterly. The fabric was featured here and shall of course post pictures of my own ones I the fabric has arrived here.
