Stash Note 9

Weekend in sight and more sewing has to be done. My plan for the rest of this week and the coming weekend is to finish my Single Girl Quilt, sew my new summer skirt from Ruby Star Rising, sew together the Dresdens and start a new quilt........................not gonna happen is it ? Let's see.

In the meanwhile I would like to showcase some stash lovelies I recently bought.

These two images are from fabric I bought when I was at my sister's in Germany. There is a local fabric shop that has a large selection, unfortunately no online shop though. Have a look at the fabric with the flip flops, isn't that cute ? These are mainly solids and blenders with the exception of the 3 patterned fabrics with the white background.

And then I found this one in the same shop. Isn't that marvelous !! Lots of old VW buses. Not sure what to do with it yet but I am think that I could cut them out and perhaps use them in some applique work.

The last three images are stash additions I ordered from Hawthron threads.
These are in order starting from the Daisy fabric with the grey background clockwise:

1. can't remember what this one was
2  Michael Miller: Daisy Doodle in Lime
3  Free Spirit Designer Solid in Yello
4  Dena Fishbein: Kumari Garden, Chandra in Blue
5  Dena Fishbein: Kumari Garden, Sachi in Blue
6  Dena Fishbein: Kumari Garden, Teja in Blue
7  Dena Fishbein: Kumari Garden, Tarika in Moss
8  Free Spirit Designer Solid in Lemon
9  can't remember what colour solid this was
10  Ty Pennington: Impressions, Blossom in Chartruese
11  Ty Pennington: Impressions, Asian Floral in Chartruese
13 Ty Pennington: Impressions, Moorsih in Chartreuse
13  Patricia Bravo: Modern Affair, Peacock in Green (also as close up further down)

  3. I was really interested to read that you live in Kew. I lived in Chiswick for 5 years and my father married at Kew Gardens - they have a beautiful room there. I love West London and Kew is so beautiful. Love your fabric stash and totally agree that quilting is addictive! Have a great weekend.

Thank you for your comments! I love reading them and will answer every question you have on my projects. But I have a very busy daytime job and am therefore not able to thank each and every comment. Please don't be offended if I won't reply.
